This is a 1995 Porsche 968 Cabriolet, the final year of production, with a factory 6-speed manual transmission, Black exterior, and Gray interior. Only 306 1995 968 Cabriolets were allocated to North America, with just 66 finished in Black, making this an exceptionally uncommon specification. And now this beautiful California-kept 968 is undergoing a major transformation—a complete custom interior in a rich Ferrari-inspired Palomino leather, matching Palomino manual convertible-top cover, custom wheels finished to complement the interior, Gulf Orange Club Sport graphics, new tires, new sport clutch, and comprehensive service. The result will be a one-of-a-kind custom 968 Cabriolet unlike anything else we've offered.
Under the hood is Porsche's legendary 3.0-liter naturally aspirated four-cylinder, paired with the factory 6-speed manual transaxle. The 968 represents the final evolution of Porsche's front-engine, rear-wheel-drive four-cylinder sports-car family that began with the 924 and evolved through the 944. With its naturally aspirated 3.0L engine, manual transmission, classic Porsche proportions, limited production, and open-top Cabriolet body, the 968 already stands apart from ordinary convertibles. Now we're taking this rare final-year example and giving it a completely custom personality while preserving the character that makes the 968 special.
This California 968 has been garage kept and rust free, and the mileage averages less than 4,000 miles per year.
